Path Integral approach to nonequilibrium potentials in multiplicative Langevin dynamics
We present a path integral formalism to compute potentials for nonequilibrium steady states, reached by a multiplicative stochastic dynamics. We develop a weak-noise expansion, which allows the explicit evaluation of the potential in arbitrary dimensions

Multiplicative Lévy noise in bistable systems [PDF]
Stochastic motion in a bistable, periodically modulated potential is discussed. The system is stimulated by a white noise increments of which have a symmetric stable L vy distribution. The noise is multiplicative: its intensity depends on the process variable like |x|^{- }.

This work reveals a fundamental trade‐off between plasmonic and dielectric metasurfaces for molecular sensing. A clear performance crossover is identified: dielectric metasurfaces excel in air, while plasmonic metasurfaces dominate in lossy solvents. These results establish design rules for infrared metasurface sensors and enable optimized performance ...

Generalized Rate-Code Model for Neuron Ensembles with Finite Populations
We have proposed a generalized Langevin-type rate-code model subjected to multiplicative noise, in order to study stationary and dynamical properties of an ensemble containing {\it finite} $N$ neurons.
