Investigating stochastic solutions for fourth order dispersive NLSE with quantic nonlinearity

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2023
In this paper, the stochastic fourth order nonlinear Schrödinger equation with quantic nonlinearity and affected by multiplicative noise is considered. This model is used to mimic the wave propagation through optical fibers.

Multiplicative noise in Euclidean Schwarzschild manifold [PDF]

open access: yesClassical and Quantum Gravity, 2020
We discuss a $ ^{4}+ ^{6}$ scalar field model defined in the Euclidean section of the Schwarzschild solution of the Einstein equations in the presence of multiplicative noise. The multiplicative random noise is a model for fluctuations of the Hawking temperature.

Construction of Adaptive Consensus Gains for Multiagent Systems with Multiplicative Noise

open access: yesComplexity, 2021
The leader-following consensus of linear multiagent systems with multiplicative noise and adaptive gains is investigated under the fixed directed graph.

Analytical and numerical studies of multiplicative noise [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review A, 1982
We consider stochastic differential equations for a variable q with multiplicative white and nonwhite ("colored") noise appropriate for the description of nonequilibrium systems which experience fluctuations which are not "self-originating." We discuss a numerical algorithm for the simulation of these equations, as well as an alternative ...

Phase Structure of Systems with Multiplicative Noise [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 1996
The phase diagrams and transitions of nonequilibrium systems with multiplicative noise are studied theoretically. We show the existence of both strong and weak-coupling critical behavior, of two distinct active phases, and of a nonzero range of parameter values over which the susceptibility is infinite in any dimension.

Ambient energy harvesting from colored multiplicative noise

open access: yesEnergy Reports, 2022
The present study examines the effect of multiplicative Gaussian noise on the conversion of vibration energy into electrical energy. Nonlinear oscillators are considered in the present model.

Multiplicative Noise: Applications in Cosmology and Field Theory

open access: yes, 1993
Physical situations involving multiplicative noise arise generically in cosmology and field theory. In this paper, the focus is first on exact nonlinear Langevin equations, appropriate in a cosmologica setting, for a system with one degree of freedom ...

The Analytical Solutions for Stochastic Fractional-Space Burgers’ Equation

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2022
We consider here the stochastic fractional-space Burgers’ equation (SFSBs’E) forced by multiplicative noise. Our goal in this paper is to find the analytical solutions for SFSBs’E via the G′/G-expansion method. Also, we generalize some previously results

Pure multiplicative stochastic resonance of anti-tumor model with seasonal modulability

open access: yes, 2006
The effects of pure multiplicative noise on stochastic resonance in an anti-tumor system modulated by a seasonal external field are investigated by using theoretical analyses of the generalized potential and numerical simulations.
