Reduction of Multiplicative Noise in Radar Images
Introduction. A radar image is an image obtained by remote sensing the earth's surface with a radar device. Radar images are characterized by background graininess caused by speckle noise, which should be filtered to improve the quality of radar images ...

Tight Upper and Lower Bounds to the Information Rate of the Phase Noise Channel
Numerical upper and lower bounds to the information rate transferred through the additive white Gaussian noise channel affected by discrete-time multiplicative autoregressive moving-average (ARMA) phase noise are proposed in the paper. The state space of

A van der Waals optoelectronic synaptic device based on a ReS2/WSe2 heterostructure and oxygen‐treated h‐BN is presented, which enables both positive and negative PSCs through photocarrier polarity reversal. Bidirectional plasticity arises from gate‐tunable band bending and charge trapping‐induced quasi‐doping.

Stabilizing role of multiplicative noise in nonconfining potentials
We provide a simple framework for the study of parametric (multiplicative) noise, making use of scale parameters. We focus on a large class of one-dimensional stochastic differential equations in which the deterministic drift pushes trajectories toward ...

On the nature of different types of absorbing states
We present a comparison of three different types of Langevin equation exhibiting absorbing states: the Langevin equation defining the Reggeon field theory, one with multiplicative noise, and a third type in which the noise is complex.

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Fluctuation Dissipation Relation for a Langevin Model with Multiplicative Noise
A random multiplicative process with additive noise is described by a Langevin equation. We show that the fluctuation-dissipation relation is satisfied in the Langevin model, if the noise strength is not so strong.Comment: 11 pages, 6 figures, other ...

Mesoporous Carbon Thin Films with Large Mesopores as Model Material for Electrochemical Applications
Mesoporous carbon thin films possessing 70 nm mesopores are prepared on titanium substrates by soft templating of resol resins with a self‐synthesized poly(ethylene oxide)‐block‐poly(hexyl acrylate) block copolymer. A strategy to avoid corrosion of the metal substrate is presented, and the films are extensively characterized in terms of morphology ...
