Inference on Common Trends in a Cointegrated Nonlinear SVAR
ABSTRACT We consider the problem of performing inference on the number of common stochastic trends when data is generated by a cointegrated CKSVAR (a two‐regime, piecewise affine SVAR; Mavroeidis, 2021), using a modified version of the Breitung (2002) multivariate variance ratio test that is robust to the presence of nonlinear cointegration (of a known

Tariff: The Most Beautiful Word in the Dictionary?
ABSTRACT We consider the welfare impacts of US tariff policy at levels proposed by President Donald J. Trump. General‐equilibrium simulations under a widely used transparent one‐sector trade model reveal sizable US welfare losses. When we extend the model to include bilateral firm selection and high resolution input–output linkages, the US losses ...

Our GPU software rapidly and accurately computes two‐electron, four‐center Coulomb repulsion integrals using Slater‐type orbitals. It involves applying a simple transformation to eliminate the Coulomb singularity and using the trapezoidal quadrature rule. The quadrature rule converges rapidly, as demonstrated in this graph.

ABSTRACT The accurate prediction of displacement and stress fields in pressure vessels is essential for the safe and reliable design of these structures, particularly when dealing with nonlinear behavior such as that of hyperelastic functionally graded materials (FGMs).
