Bilinear multipliers and transference [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2005
We give de Leeuw-type transference theorems for bilinear multipliers. In particular, it is shown that bilinear multipliers arising from regulated functions m(ξ,η) in ℝ×ℝ can be transferred to bilinear multipliers acting on 𝕋×𝕋 and ℤ×ℤ. The results follow

On the Design of Logarithmic Multiplier Using Radix-4 Booth Encoding

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
This paper proposes an energy-efficient approximate multiplier which combines radix-4 Booth encoding and logarithmic product approximation. Additionally, a datapath pruning technique is proposed and studied to reduce the hardware complexity of the ...

The Czech Republic and Austrian Tourism in Scope of German Visitors [PDF]

open access: yesStatistika: Statistics and Economy Journal, 2023
Tourism demand modelling is one of the most studied areas in tourism economics, particularly focused on time series and econometric research. In this study, directly interpretable one-equation techniques are utilised, i.e. the autoregressive distributed

Approximate Conservation Laws of Nonvariational Differential Equations

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
The concept of an approximate multiplier (integrating factor) is introduced. Such multipliers are shown to give rise to approximate local conservation laws for differential equations that admit a small perturbation.

Multiplying myosins [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 2006
Myosins are a diverse family of actin-based molecular motors that appeared early in eukaryotic evolution. Just how early, and how diverse, has begun to become clear from work that appears in this issue of PNAS (1) and recent work from Nature (2). For most of its existence, the term “myosin” applied only to the actin-activated ATPase that forms the ...

Redistribution and the Multiplier [PDF]

open access: yesIMF Economic Review, 2011
Does it matter, for the size of the government spending multiplier, which category of agents bears the brunt of the necessary adjustment in taxes? In an economy with heterogeneous agents and imperfect financial markets, the answer depends on whether or not New Keynesian features, such are price rigidity, are present.
