Distance‐Dependent Stray Field Decay in Magnetically Stable Remanence Carriers: Implications for Magnetic Microscopy

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Micropaleomagnetic analysis offers a path to high‐precision reconstructions of ancient magnetic fields from terrestrial and space‐returned samples by inverting the vertical stray field of individual particles to recover their magnetic moments through the use of magnetic microscopes.

Early Solar Wind and Dynamo Magnetic Field Topology Predictions for (16) Psyche and Other Asteroids

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Planets, Volume 131, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Asteroid (16) Psyche is a metal‐rich body that might record an ancient coherent magnetization if some relict crust or mantle is preserved. Herein, we use magnetohydrodynamic simulations to predict (16) Psyche's field topology for several distinct pathways: (i) an early solar wind‐induced magnetization imparted after a larger body was impacted,

Temporal Characteristics and Management of Prolonged Sinus Pause Following Atrial Fibrillation Termination After Catheter Ablation—A Preliminary Study

open access: yesAnnals of Noninvasive Electrocardiology, Volume 31, Issue 2, March 2026.
Twelve of the 1330 patients who underwent AF catheter ablation showed PSP ≥ 3 s after AF termination post ablation. The temporal characteristics of PSP were described. Nine of the 12 patients had no need for permanent pacing. We concluded that a ‘watch‐and‐wait’ strategy could be adopted in these patients.

Student Mobilities to an ‘Offbeat’ or ‘Onbeat’ Destination? The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme in Illiberal Hungary

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Education, Volume 61, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper examines international student mobility under Hungary's illiberal regime through the experiences of Stipendium Hungaricum (SH) participants. Launched in 2013, SH seeks to internationalise Hungarian higher education and strengthen ties with non‐EU countries, particularly those in the East.

Constructing National Higher Education Brands: Korea, India and Israel Compared

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Education, Volume 61, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT This study examines the websites of the national higher education (HE) brands of Study in Korea, Study in India and Study in Israel, exploring how these ‘offbeat’ destinations position themselves in the global HE market. Drawing on rhetorical analysis and employing a qualitative comparative case study approach, it reveals the key identity ...
