Multibeam and multipolarization antenna
2006 First European Conference on Antennas and Propagation, 2006The design of a novel reconfigurable antenna for MIMO systems is presented. Simulation and experimental results shows its capabilities in a multibeam reconfiguration in a 4? steradians environment. It can allow an enhancement in wireless communication employing multipath channel combining with a radiation pattern diversity.

Bipolar and Multipolar Radiofrequency
Dermatologic Surgery, 2014The increased demand for anti-aging treatments over the past decade has fueled the development of multimodality devices. This allows for more efficacious treatment of dermal defects, excess adiposity, and skin laxity. Radiofrequency (RF) devices are constantly evolving and consequently adding multiple indications for their use.

Multipolar Meiosis in Elephantulus
Nature, 1949ONE of the males used for a cytogenetical investigation of Elephantulus myurus jamesoni, the South African jumping shrew, showed a high incidence of multipolar meiotic divisions. This was not referred to in the original reports of the cytogenetics of Elephantulus1,2 and is described below. In a count of a hundred first meiotic metaphases and anaphases,

The most important impulse to the creation of the theory, is its ability to be a framework for the mathematical theory of compressible, heat conductive fluids. The theory provides proof of the existence of global (in time) solutions, what in spite of big efforts, the classical theory, based on linear Stoke’s stress-strain relation, does not make ...

This volume delves into the intricate relationship between the political left and Carl Schmitt, one of the most influential and controversial political theorists of the 20th century. The contributions collected here illuminate how various left-wing currents, from radical Marxism to left-liberalism, engaged with Schmitt’s work, sometimes finding ...
