Fault analysis using Gegenbauer multiresolution analysis [PDF]
This paper exploits the multiresolution analysis in the fault analysis on transmission lines. Faults were simulated using the ATP (Alternative Transient Program), considering signals at 128/cycle. A nonorthogonal multiresolution analysis was provided by Gegenbauer scaling and wavelet filters. In the cases where the signal reconstruction is not required,

PWNet: An Adaptive Weight Network for the Fusion of Panchromatic and Multispectral Images
Pansharpening is a typical image fusion problem, which aims to produce a high resolution multispectral (HRMS) image by integrating a high spatial resolution panchromatic (PAN) image with a low spatial resolution multispectral (MS) image.

Wavelets Defined Over Non Nested Tetrahedral Grids: A Theoretical Approach
The main contribution of this paper is the definition of wavelets over non nested tetrahedral grids, allowing the representation of functions defined on an a irregular tetrahedralization. In this way, it is possible to represent different attributes of a

Multiresolution expansions of distributions : pointwise convergence and quasiasymptotic behavior [PDF]
In several variables, we prove the pointwise convergence of multiresolution expansions to the distributional point values of tempered distributions and distributions of superexponential growth. The article extends and improves earlier results by G.

Identification of time-varying systems using multiresolution wavelet models [PDF]
Identification of linear and nonlinear time-varying systems is investigated and a new wavelet model identification algorithm is introduced. By expanding each time-varying coefficient using a multiresolution wavelet expansion, the time-varying problem is ...
