An Experimental High‐Throughput Approach for the Screening of Hard Magnet Materials
An entire workflow for the high‐throughput characterization and analysis of compositionally graded magnetic films is presented. Characterization protocols, data management tools and data analysis approaches are illustrated with test case Sm(Fe, V)12 based films.

Use of Membrane Technologies in Dairy Industry: An Overview
The use of treatments of segregated process streams as a water source, as well as technical fluid reuse as a source of value-added recovery products, is an emerging direction of resource recovery in several applications.

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

We explore the feasibility of small angle x-ray scattering (SAXS) measurements with intense laser-induced plasma sources. Such x-ray sources are inherently polychromatic and divergent. We simulate SAXS patterns using monochromatic and polychromatic x-ray

Contrast Independent Localization of Multiscale Problems
The accuracy of many multiscale methods based on localized computations suffers from high contrast coefficients since the localization error generally depends on the contrast.

Finite element heterogeneous multiscale methods for the wave equation [PDF]
Wave phenomena appear in a wide range of applications such as full-waveform seismic inversion, medical imaging, or composite materials. Often, they are modeled by the acoustic wave equation.

A distinct semi‐confined inner‐tube chemical vapor deposition geometry enables reproducible, large‐area growth of phase‐pure 2D β′‐In2Se3 from InI + Se precursors. Engineering local vapor transport and optimizing precursor delivery and temperature–time conditions yield uniform continuous films.

Hugoniot and refractive indices of bromoform under shock compression
We investigate physical properties of bromoform (liquid CHBr3) including compressibility and refractive index under dynamic extreme conditions of shock compression. Planar shock experiments are conducted along with high-speed laser interferometry.
