The Infrared Multispectral Image Simulation Research Based on 3D Scene
A method of generating infrared multispectral simulation images by 3D scene is presented. The infrared images at any observation angle of the scene and a data cube of simulation images of specific waveband could be generated by the method.

Retrospective image analysis for long‐term demography using Google Earth imagery
We demonstrate that high‐resolution Google Earth imagery, combined with minimal field validation, enables retrospective tracking of individual invasive plants. The image shows one of the monitored individuals of Opuntia sp. in Greece. Our approach reveals long‐term demographic patterns, recruitment dynamics, and spatial expansion without continuous ...

Dark endmember in spectral feature space under variable atmosphere
One of the most important assumptions in most multispectral image transformation methods is that the position of the dark endmember is placed at the origin of the n-D spectral feature space regardless of the target spectral signature.

We demonstrate that high‐resolution multispectral imagery combined with machine learning can accurately predict key biocrust functional indicators, particularly the UV‐protective pigment scytonemin, across dryland ecosystems. Using fine‐scale imagery acquired in the Chihuahuan Desert and Colorado Plateau, we identified spectral bands strongly ...

At-home multispectral imager for the monitoring of blood oxygenation in people at risk of diabetic foot ulcers [PDF]
One in three people living with diabetes are affected by diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) which, if left unmonitored and untreated, reduce quality of life, and may lead to foot amputation.

Assessing habitat suitability for black grouse broods at the bioregional scale
The black grouse Lyrurus tetrix, a galliform species emblematic of the European Alps, is currently threatened by habitat change, particularly given the closure of heathland linked to the rising tree line at higher altitudes. The presence of heathlands in good ecological condition is, however, imperative for the species' reproduction.

We used drone‐based radiotelemetry and multispectral imagery to estimate detection and survival probabilities of blue‐winged teal broods in Saskatchewan, Canada. Weekly brood survival probabilities, estimated via Cormack‐Jolly‐Seber models, increased with age and were comparable between drone methods.
