Visualizing and Quantifying Impact with Mechanochromic Sensing Paints Based on Self‐Assembled Polydiacetylene‐Silk Core‐Shell Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tracking physical impacts is important in many fields. Self‐assembled microparticles made from polydiacetylene and silk fibroin that change color from blue to red when hit can provide an alternative approach to traditional mechanical transducers, quantitatively visualizing impact with responses ranging from <100 to 770 N.

An Innovative Method of Monitoring Cotton Aphid Infestation Based on Data Fusion and Multi-Source Remote Sensing Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

open access: yesDrones
Cotton aphids are the primary pests that adversely affect cotton growth, and they also transmit a variety of viral diseases, seriously threatening cotton yield and quality. Although the traditional remote sensing method with a single data source improves

MULTISPECTRAL IMAGE FUSION USING SLANTLET-BASED RIDGELET TRANSFORM

open access: yesJournal of Engineering, 2007
This paper introduces a new method in the multispectral image fusion based on ridgelet transform which represents edges better than wavelets. Since edges play a fundamental rule in image understanding, one good way to enhance spatial resolution is to ...

Wafer‐Scale Bandgap‐Tunable MoS2/PbS Phototransistors Enabled by Solution Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work advances bandgap‐tunable MoS2/PbS phototransistors by introducing lateral heterojunctions, which enable superior tunable bandgap (1.24–0.61 eV) via Type‐II alignment. Plasma‐enhanced solution processing ensures uniform 4‐inch wafer‐scale fabrication with 97% yield.

Colour analysis of degraded parchment [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Multispectral imaging was employed to collect data on the degradation of an 18th century parchment by a series of physical and chemical treatments. Each sample was photographed before and after treatment by a monochrome digital camera with 21 narrow-band

High‐Resolution Multispectral Photovoltaic Imagers from Visible to Short‐Wave Infrared

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a monolithic quad‐spectral imager that seamlessly integrates visible and short‐wave infrared detection on a single chip. Through direct photopatterning of an all‐polymer bulk heterojunction and colloidal quantum dots, the device achieves high‐resolution (640 × 512) imaging across 350–2400 nm, enabling multispectral capture for ...

Enhancing registration accuracy and eminence of multispectral transmission breast images by fusing multi-wavelength gen using vision transformer and LSTM

open access: yesScientific Reports
Enduring studies in the field of early breast cancer screening are investigating the use of multispectral transmission imaging. The frame accumulation system handles multispectral transmission images with deprived grayscale and unsatisfactory resolution.
