From Regression Based on Dynamic Filter Network to Pansharpening by Pixel-Dependent Spatial-Detail Injection

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
Compared with hardware upgrading, pansharpening is a low-cost way to acquire high-quality images, which usually combines multispectral images (MS) in low spatial resolution with panchromatic images (PAN) in high spatial resolution.

PRISMS: remote high resolution in situ multispectral imaging of wall paintings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The non-invasive monitoring and examination of wall paintings in grotto sites, tombs and buildings is particularly important since these paintings are often extremely vulnerable. Traditionally, inspection of wall paintings at high resolution (i.e.

Multispectral images of peach related to firmness and maturity at harvest [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
wo multispectral maturity classifications for red soft-flesh peaches (‘Kingcrest’, ‘Rubyrich’ and ‘Richlady’ n = 260) are proposed and compared based on R (red) and R/IR (red divided by infrared) images obtained with a three CCD camera (800 nm, 675 nm ...

Deblurring Multispectral Laparoscopic Images

open access: yes, 2014
Multispectral imaging is an optical modality that can provide real-time in vivo information about tissue characteristics and function through signal sensitivity to chromophores in the tissue. In this paper, we present a deblurring strategy that enables imaging of dynamic tissues at wavelengths where the required acquisition time can cause significant ...

High‐Transmission Mid‐Infrared Bandpass Filters using Hybrid Metal‐Dielectric Metasurfaces for CO2 Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 8, March 13, 2025.
This article presents a hybrid metal‐dielectric metasurface in transmission mode for mid‐infrared (MIR) spectroscopy. Composed of germanium on aluminium cylinders atop a calcium fluoride substrate, the metasurface achieves 80% transmission efficiency at λ = 2.6 µm with a narrow full‐width‐half‐maximum of 0.4 µm.

Hyperspectral and Multispectral Image Fusion via Deep Two-Branches Convolutional Neural Network

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2018
Enhancing the spatial resolution of hyperspectral image (HSI) is of significance for applications. Fusing HSI with a high resolution (HR) multispectral image (MSI) is an important technology for HSI enhancement.

A Multi‐Resonant Tunable Fabry‐Pérot Cavity for High Throughput Spectral Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 8, March 13, 2025.
This study introduces a multi‐resonant tunable Fabry‐Pérot filter for high throughput spectral imaging. With a spectral resolution of 10 nm and a switching time of 23 ms, this compact and low‐cost device possesses better spectral imaging accuracy in poor light conditions while maintaining over six times higher optical throughput than standard liquid ...
