A multistatic Doppler radar system with application to aeroecology
2017 IEEE Radar Conference (RadarConf), 2017This paper focuses on a distributed multistatic Doppler radar system for use in aeroecology applications. The system is composed of five spatially separated receiving stations and three transmitting stations operating in offset frequency channels in S-band.

GOMERS: Genetic optimization of a multistatic extended radar system
2016 IEEE Radar Conference (RadarConf), 2016A well-positioned ensemble of multistatic radar receivers can offer improved target localization accuracy over a monostatic radar; however, its system performance is sensitive to placement of the multistatic radar receivers with respect to the illumination source and the target.

Localizations of multiple targets using multistatic UWB radar systems
2012 3rd IEEE International Conference on Network Infrastructure and Digital Content, 2012To estimate the coordinates of multiple targets, the arrangement of radar sensors is very important. This paper uses four Ultra Wide Band (UWB) radar modules at four directions in the room. In multiple targets, there is some probability to choose "ghost" targets (Helmbrecht and Biebl, 2005) when targets are on the diagonal. This paper proposes modified

Optimal channel selection in a multistatic radar system
2012The purpose of this chapter is to introduce geometric aspects of waveform diversity in terms of bistatic ambiguity function (BAF) and Cramer-Rao lower bounds (CRLBs). These aspects are fundamental in the choice of bistatic channel or set of channels in multistatic systems for target kinematic parameters estimation.

Time-Domain Multistatic Radar System for Microwave Breast Screening
IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2013This letter presents an experimental system for microwave breast cancer detection that uses multistatic radar. The system operates by transmitting a short-duration pulse and collecting the signals scattered within the breast. We describe the 16-element array, along with the pulse generation scheme, switches, and all auxiliary equipment.

Antenna Array Signal Processing for Multistatic Radar Systems
2013The introductions of Digital Beam Forming (DBF), original signal exploitation and waveform multiplexing techniques have led to the design of novel radar concepts. Passive Coherent Locator (PCL) and Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) sensors are two examples of innovative approaches.

Multistatic refraction-error compensation in radar and satellite navigation systems
Radiophysics and Quantum Electronics, 1993A multistatic method compensation of positioning errors caused by refraction is proposed that does not require a model of the atmosphere's refractive-index profile and can be used in radar and satellite navigation systems.

Optimum and sub-optimum processors for multistatic radar systems
1987The optimum receiver, allowing for the presence of Gaussian noise and Rayleigh fluctuations of the target echoes, is synthesized for a multi static radar system. The performance of such a receiver is analyzed, showing that in certain respects the target-detection characteristics of the multistatic system compare advantageously with those of the ...

OPTIMIZATION OF A MULTISTATIC UNDER-SURFACE RADAR ANTENNA SYSTEM
2020In subsurface radar, the monostatic principle of registration of radar data is successfully applied, in which the transceiver module of the radar moves with a certain step along the flat surface of the object being examined and measures the amplitude and phase of the field at different frequencies ... The module can be moved either by the operator
