Performance study of HF communication using NOMA over narrowband HF channel
The novelty of this research is to increase the bit rate on high frequency (HF) systems. Non‐orthogonal multiple access technique (NOMA) technology is used over HF at narrow band 3 kHz ranges. In order to have real experiments SDR Hack RF systems are used, and the results show improvement in bit rate up to 45%.

HydroMoth: Testing a prototype low‐cost acoustic recorder for aquatic environments
In this paper, we demonstrate the current lack of commercially available low‐cost aquatic sound recorders. We then test a prototype device that is twenty times cheaper than currently available hydrophones. Technology like this will open up the field of aquatic bioacoustics to people and organisations who have never before been able to listen underwater.

Detecting increasing anomalous signals is critical to effective spectrum management due to the complexity of the use of electromagnetic spectrum.
