Performance of frequency hopped MSK signals in multitone jamming and additive white Gaussian noise

IEEE Conference on Military Communications, 2002
Because of advantageous spectral properties, coherent minimum shift keying (MSK) is attractive for electronic counter-counter measures (ECCM) systems where high data throughput is required. These high rate ECCM systems typically use frequency-hopped (FH) spread-spectrum techniques to enhance antijam capabilities. The performance of MSK signals combined

The performance of LDPC coded FFH/BFSK system over Rayleigh fading channel under multitone jamming

Fifth International Conference on Computing, Communications and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT), 2014
Fast frequency hopping (FFH) is a very effective way to combat jamming. In this paper, low density parity check (LDPC) code is employed to enhance the performance of FFH systems over Rayleigh fading channel under band multitone jamming (BMTJ). Moreover, maximum likelihood (ML) diversity combining and various robust diversity combining techniques which ...

Error probability for FH/MDPSK in multitone jamming, fast Rician fading, and Gaussian noise

IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1995
A method is presented for the calculation of M-ary DPSK error probability in partial-band multitone jamming and white gaussian noise. Both unfaded and faded signals and jamming tones may be analyzed by the method. The fading considered is frequency-flat, time selective, Rician fading.

Performance analysis of FH/DPSK in additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) and multitone jamming

MILCOM 88, 21st Century Military Communications - What's Possible?'. Conference record. Military Communications Conference, 2003
The author analyzes the bit error rate (BER) performance of frequency-hopping differential phase-shift keying (DPSK) in additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) and multitone jamming. It is shown that the exact BER is given by a compact expression in terms of Marcum's Q-function.

Minimax and generalized likelihood ratio test for noncoherent FH/BFSK in band multitone jamming

2012 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2012
We investigate non-coherent FH/BFSK detection in band multitone jamming when Bayesian detection is unfeasible due to lack of knowledge on a priori jamming state probabilities. We derive joint-suboptimal decision metrics of jamming states under Minimax hypothesis testing in band multitone jamming and AWGN. A sub-optimal generalized likelihood ratio test

The Performance of M-ary FH-DPSK in the Presence of Partial-Band Multitone Jamming

IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1982
Using a geometric approach, the performance of M -ary FH-DPSK in the presence of partial-band multitone jamming is evaluated. The optimal jamming strategy is determined as a function of the number of signaling levels M and the ensuing results are used to determine worst case bit error probability performance as a function of this same parameter.
