Adaptive Blind Multiuser Detection over Flat Fast Fading Channels Using Particle Filtering

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2005
We propose a method for blind multiuser detection (MUD) in synchronous systems over flat and fast Rayleigh fading channels. We adopt an autoregressive-moving-average (ARMA) process to model the temporal correlation of the channels.

Error Rate Analysis of Quantum-Annealing-Aided Multi-User Detection in Power-Domain Nonorthogonal Multiple Access

open access: yesIEEE Access
We present the error rate performance of quantum-annealing-aided multiuser detection (QA-aided MUD), a signal detection approach that combines quantum annealing (QA) with conventional iterative multiuser detection (MUD).

Multiuser Delay-Tracking CDMA Receiver

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2002
We propose to integrate delay tracking into a successive interference cancellation (SIC) code division multiple access (CDMA) multiuser detector. Delay-robust SIC was initially proposed for CDMA multiuser detection when there exist time delay estimation

Turbo Multiuser Detection Architectures

open access: yes, 2003
The discovery of Turbo Codes in 1996 by Berrou et. al. proved to be a huge boost for the research of channel coding. The Turbo Principle behind turbo codes was found to be applicable in other areas. One of these areas is Multiuser Detection. In this thesis, Turbo Multiuser Detection is investigated in order to answer two main questions.
