Generalised vector precoding design based on the MBER criterion for multiuser transmission [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A generalised vector precoding (VP) design based on the minimum bit error rate (MBER) criterion is proposed for multiuser transmission in the downlink of a multiuser system where the base station (BS) equipped with multiple transmit antennas communicates

Laser Sintering and Optical Characterization of LuAG: Ce Ceramics

open access: yesphysica status solidi (b), Volume 263, Issue 6, June 2026.
Additive‐free densification of LuAG:Ce ceramics is achieved via CO2 laser sintering within seconds, producing high‐density and homogeneous microstructures compared to conventional processing. However, laser‐sintered samples exhibit enhanced oxygen vacancy concentrations, leading to reduced photoluminescence intensity and a red shift in emission.

Adaptive Minimum-BER Linear Multiuser Detection for DS-CDMA Signals in Multipath Channels [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The problem of constructing adaptive minimum bit error rate (MBER) linear multiuser detectors is considered for direct-sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) signals transmitted through multipath channels.

Reduced-rank adaptive least bit-error-rate detection in hybrid direct-sequence time-hopping ultrawide bandwidth systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Design of high-efficiency low-complexity detection schemes for ultrawide bandwidth (UWB) systems is highly challenging. This contribution proposes a reduced-rank adaptive multiuser detection (MUD) scheme operated in least bit-errorrate (LBER) principles ...

LDPC encoding performances for fading suppression in MIMO-CDMA wireless networks

open access: yesEAI Endorsed Transactions on Mobile Communications and Applications, 2018
In multiuser wireless communication systems, signal recovery, even at low BER is a relevant factor for ensuring a safe and reliable communication. Efforts for interference minimization include multiple analysis of source coding/decoding techniques ...

Dimensionality‐Driven Emerging Phenomena in Hybrid Metal Halides

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2026.
Emergent Phenomena Governed by Octahedral Connectivity and Dimensionality. Hybrid metal halides are unique among semiconductors in that their inorganic octahedral networks can be rationally assembled in 3D, 2D, 1D, and 0D forms, enabling dimensionality to assist as a powerful control knob over structure, electronic properties, excitations, and ...

Multiuser Detection Assisted Time- and Frequency-Domain Spread Multicarrier Code-Division Multiple-Access [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In this contribution, we study a reduced-complexity multiuser detection aided multicarrier direct-sequence code-division multiple-access (MC DS-CDMA) scheme, which employs both time (T)-domain and frequency (F)-domain spreading.

Methodology and Implementation on DSP of Heuristic Multiuser DS/CDMA Detectors

open access: yesSemina: Ciências Exatas e Tecnológicas, 2010
The growing number of users of mobile communications networks and the scarcity of the electromagnetic spectrum make the use of diversity techniques and detection/decoding efficient, such as the use of multiple antennas at the transmitter and/or receiver,

Uplink Multiuser MIMO Detection Scheme with Reduced Computational Complexity [PDF]

open access: yesRadioengineering, 2015
The wireless communication systems with multiple antennas have recently received significant attention due to their higher capacity and better immunity to fading channels as compared to single antenna systems.
