Efficient multiuser MIMO scheduling strategies
IEEE 60th Vehicular Technology Conference, 2004. VTC2004-Fall. 2004, 2005For multiuser MIMO (MU-MIMO) services, orthogonal multiple accesses, e.g., FDMA and TDMA are popular options to avoid multiuser interference. A high sum-rate is achievable in an MU-MIMO system where a common frequency or time resource is shared by multiple users if transmitters assume perfect knowledge of the corresponding channels.

Suboptimal Multiuser MIMO Techniques
2011The previous chapter described the capacity regions of multiuser MIMO channels and techniques for achieving capacity. Due to the complexity of these optimal techniques, we are motivated to consider suboptimal multiuser MIMO techniques with lower complexity.

Time-Varying Channel Estimation for Millimeter Wave Multiuser MIMO Systems
IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2018Channel estimation for downlink millimeter wave (mmWave) multiuser multiple-input-multiple-output (MU-MIMO) communications over a time-varying channel is demandingly challenging. This is due to a massive number of channel coefficients to be estimated and

Multiuser MIMO downlink transmission using spatial modulation
2014 IEEE Latin-America Conference on Communications (LATINCOM), 2014This paper presents a novel scheme to transmit signals in a Multiuser Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO) downlink scenario. The proposed scheme uses the recently introduced Spatial Modulation (SM) technique to transmit a broadcast signal for multiple users.

Grouped multiuser diversity in multiuser MIMO systems exploiting spatial multiplexing
2006 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2006In order to improve the downlink capacity of a multiuser multiple input multiple output system exploiting spatial multiplexing, this paper proposes two grouped multiuser diversity schemes. Aiming at the suppression of co-channel interference, both schemes select a group of users to share the same time-frequency channel unit in two steps.

Optimal Array size for Multiuser MIMO
2018 14th International Wireless Communications & Mobile Computing Conference (IWCMC), 2018This paper investigates the optimal number of antennas at a base station, in contrast to what has been accepted in the past: that increasing the number of antennas at base station always enhances performance. In this study, we show that increasing the number of antennas does not always improve the desired performance.

Alternating Minimization Algorithms for One-Bit Precoding in Massive Multiuser MIMO Systems
IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2018The use of low-cost and power-efficient hardware components has elicited considerable interest in the context of massive multiuser multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) systems because such hardware architecture enables significant power and cost ...
