Nonlinear and Multivalued Maps

2016
Let X and Y be two Banach spaces, let \(D \subseteq X\) be a set, and let \(f: D\longrightarrow Y\) be a map.

On the degree theory for multivalued (S+) type mappings

Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, 1998
The authors construct an approximate degree theory for a class of multivalued mappings of the form \(F= L+S\) from the domain \(D(L)\) in a real reflexive Banach space \(X\) to its dual space \(X^*\), where \(L\) is a closed densely defined maximal monotone operator and \(S\) is a multivalued map of class \((S+)\) with respect to the graph norm ...

Multivalued Possibilities Mappings

1990
Abstraction mappings are one of the major tools used to construct correctness proofs for concurrent algorithms. Several examples are given of situations in which it is useful to allow the abstraction mappings to be multivalued. The examples involve algorithm optimization, algorithm distribution, and proofs of time bounds.

Multivalued -weakly Picard mappings

Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2007
By introducing the concept of multi-valued \(f\)-weak contraction and generalized multi-valued \(f\)-weak contraction, the author obtains two coincidence fixed point theorems which include, in particular, two common fixed point theorems. If \(f=I\), the identity map, one obtains the results co-authored by the reviewer: \textit{M. Berinde} and \textit{V.

APPROXIMATING FIXED POINTS OF MULTIVALUED MAPPINGS

JP Journal of Fixed Point Theory and Applications, 2018
Summary: An Ishikawa iteration scheme is used for a pair of multivalued operators to establish a fixed point theorem under \((\psi,\phi)\)-weak contraction.

On a Class of Multivalued Mappings in Banach Spaces

Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1972
A. Granas [4] has studied single-valued compact vector fields in Banach spaces. In [3], he extended the fixed point theorems of Roth, Boknenblust and Karlin to the case of multi-valued functions. Closely following [4], we give here some general theorems in a class of multi-valued functions in Banach spaces.

On variational inequalities with multivalued mappings

The authors study variational inequalities with the multivalued mappings which form a new class of mathematical problems. The theorems on existence of solutions to the problem are given. Properties of sets of solutions to the problem are studied.
