A New Fixed‐Point Framework for Nonexpansive and Averaged Mappings in Normed GE‐Algebras

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this paper, we develop a systematic framework for studying fixed‐point theory in the setting of normed GE‐algebras. Building on the GE‐norm, we introduce and analyze nonexpansive mappings, α‐averaged mappings, and enriched contractions with respect to the quasimetric induced by the GE‐norm.

A New Class of Contraction in b‐Metric Spaces and Applications

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, Volume 2017, Issue 1, 2017., 2017
A novel class of α‐β‐contraction for a pair of mappings is introduced in the setting of b‐metric spaces. Existence and uniqueness of coincidence and common fixed points for such kind of mappings are investigated. Results are supported with relevant examples. At the end, results are applied to find the solution of an integral equation.

Analysis of a Radiotherapy Model for Brain Tumors

open access: yesStudies in Applied Mathematics, Volume 155, Issue 1, July 2025.
ABSTRACT In this work, we focus on the analytical and numerical study of a mathematical model for brain tumors undergoing radiotherapy treatment. Under certain assumptions regarding the given data in the model, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a weak nonnegative (biologically relevant) solution.

End Point Results in Metric Spaces Endowed with a Graph

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2016, Issue 1, 2016., 2016
We introduce the notion of end point of multivalued mappings in the setting of metric space endowed with a graph and prove some existence results in this context. The mappings are assumed to satisfy certain generalized multivalued almost G‐contractive type inequalities.

Study of Nonlinear Second‐Order Differential Inclusion Driven by a Φ−Laplacian Operator Using the Lower and Upper Solutions Method

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
In this paper, we study a second‐order differential inclusion under boundary conditions governed by maximal monotone multivalued operators. These boundary conditions incorporate the classical Dirichlet, Neumann, and Sturm–Liouville problems. Our method of study combines the method of lower and upper solutions, the analysis of multivalued functions, and

The Theory of Reich's Fixed Point Theorem for Multivalued Operators

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2010
The purpose of this paper is to present a theory of Reich's fixed point theorem for multivalued operators in terms of fixed points, strict fixed points, multivalued weakly Picard operators, multivalued Picard operators, data dependence of the fixed ...

Well-posedness via Monotonicity. An Overview

open access: yes, 2014
The idea of monotonicity (or positive-definiteness in the linear case) is shown to be the central theme of the solution theories associated with problems of mathematical physics.

On almost duality for Frobenius manifolds

open access: yes, 2003
We present a universal construction of almost duality for Frobenius manifolds. The analytic setup of this construction is described in details for the case of semisimple Frobenius manifolds.

Fixed point theory for multivalued φ-contractions

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2011
The purpose of this paper is to present a fixed point theory for multivalued φ-contractions using the following concepts: fixed points, strict fixed points, periodic points, strict periodic points, multivalued Picard and weakly Picard operators ...

Geometric quantization via SYZ transforms

open access: yes, 2020
The so-called quantization problem in geometric quantization is asking whether the space of wave functions is independent of the choice of polarization. In this paper, we apply SYZ transforms to solve the quantization problem in two cases: (1) semi-flat ...
