Zero Assignment in Multivariable System Using Pole Assignment Method [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2002
In the paper we consider the invariant zero assignment problem in a linear multivariable system with several inputs/outputs by constructing a system output matrix. The problem is reduced to the pole assignment problem by a state feedback (modal control) in a descriptor system or a regular one.

RNGA for non-square multivariable control systems: properties and application [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
The Relative Gain Array (RGA) and Relative Normalized Gain Array (RNGA) have received considerable attention for square systems. In this paper RNGA with the column-major, for non-square multivariable systems is introduced. RNGA of the paper has a row-column inequality, i.e. the number of rows is less than the number of columns.

Implicit Higher-Order Moment Matching Technique for Model Reduction of Quadratic-bilinear Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
We propose a projection based multi-moment matching method for model order reduction of quadratic-bilinear systems. The goal is to construct a reduced system that ensures higher-order moment matching for the multivariate transfer functions appearing in the input-output representation of the nonlinear system.

Compensator improvement for multivariable control systems [PDF]

open access: yes
A theory and the associated numerical technique are developed for an iterative design improvement of the compensation for linear, time-invariant control systems with multiple inputs and multiple outputs. A strict constraint algorithm is used in obtaining

Robust control of a bimorph mirror for adaptive optics system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We apply robust control technics to an adaptive optics system including a dynamic model of the deformable mirror. The dynamic model of the mirror is a modification of the usual plate equation. We propose also a state-space approach to model the turbulent

Tracking Control Design in Nonlinear Multivariable Systems: Robotic Applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In this work, a controller design technique called linear algebra based controller (LABC) is presented. The controller is obtained following a systematic procedure that is summarized in this work. In addition, the influence of additive uncertainty on the
