Spatial and seasonal variability in the water chemistry of Kabar Tal wetland (Ramsar site), Bihar, India: multivariate statistical techniques and GIS approach

open access: yesWater Science and Technology, 2021
This study was performed to evaluate the spatial and temporal distribution of major ions in water samples of a newly designated Ramsar site, namely Kabar Tal (KT) wetland of Bihar. Samples were collected during summer, monsoon, and winter seasons.

Multitemporal Chlorophyll Mapping in Pome Fruit Orchards from Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2019
Early and precise spatio-temporal monitoring of tree vitality is key for steering management decisions in pome fruit orchards. Spaceborne remote sensing instruments face a tradeoff between spatial and spectral resolution, while manned aircraft sensor ...

Multivariate Goppa Codes

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2023
In this paper, we introduce multivariate Goppa codes, which contain as a special case the well-known, classical Goppa codes. We provide a parity check matrix for a multivariate Goppa code in terms of a tensor product of generalized Reed-Solomon codes. We prove that multivariate Goppa codes are subfield subcodes of augmented Cartesian codes.

Towards open sharing of task-based fMRI data: The OpenfMRI project

open access: yesFrontiers in Neuroinformatics, 2013
The large-scale sharing of task-based functional neuroimaging data has the potential to allow novel insights into the organization of mental function in the brain, but the field of neuroimaging has lagged behind other areas of bioscience in the ...

Frequency-Resolved Dynamic Functional Connectivity Reveals Scale-Stable Features of Connectivity-States

open access: yesFrontiers in Human Neuroscience, 2018
Investigating temporal variability of functional connectivity is an emerging field in connectomics. Entering dynamic functional connectivity by applying sliding window techniques on resting-state fMRI (rs-fMRI) time courses emerged from this topic.

On Multivariate Interpolation [PDF]

open access: yesStudies in Applied Mathematics, 2005
A new approach to interpolation theory for functions of several variables is proposed. We develop a multivariate divided difference calculus based on the theory of noncommutative quasi‐determinants. In addition, intriguing explicit formulae that connect the classical finite difference interpolation coefficients for univariate curves with multivariate ...
