A sparse kernel density estimation algorithm using forward constrained regression [PDF]
Using the classical Parzen window (PW) estimate as the target function, the sparse kernel density estimator is constructed in a forward constrained regression manner. The leave-one-out (LOO) test score is used for kernel selection.

Geometric Estimation of Multivariate Dependency
This paper proposes a geometric estimator of dependency between a pair of multivariate random variables. The proposed estimator of dependency is based on a randomly permuted geometric graph (the minimal spanning tree) over the two multivariate samples ...

Wavelet density estimation for mixing and size-biased data
This paper considers wavelet estimation for a multivariate density function based on mixing and size-biased data. We provide upper bounds for the mean integrated squared error (MISE) of wavelet estimators.

Anion‐exchange doping of conjugated polymers is an effective way to achieve high conductivities. Here, we report over 2000 S cm−1 electrical conductivity for doped P(g3BTTT). In addition, we show that P(g3BTTT) sustains exceptionally high doping levels without any drop in the charge mobility.

A Bayesian approach to bandwidth selection for multivariate kernel regression with an application to state-price density estimation. [PDF]
Multivariate kernel regression is an important tool for investigating the relationship between a response and a set of explanatory variables. It is generally accepted that the performance of a kernel regression estimator largely depends on the choice of ...
