Chlorophyll-A Time Series Study on a Saline Mediterranean Lagoon: The Mar Menor Case

open access: yesEngineering Proceedings
The Mar Menor, Europe’s largest saline lagoon, has experienced significant eutrophication. The concentration of chlorophyll-a (Chl-a) in the water is used as a critical indicator of this eutrophication process and can alert us to possible ecosystemic ...

Pricing stock options under stochastic volatility and interest rates with efficient method of moments estimation [PDF]

open access: yes
While the stochastic volatility (SV) generalization has been shown to improve the explanatory power over the Black-Scholes model, empirical implications of SV models on option pricing have not yet been adequately tested.

Fractional cointegrating regressions in the presence of linear time trends [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
We consider regressions of nonstationary fractionally integrated variables dominated by linear time trends. The regression errors are short memory, long memory or even nonstationary, and hence allow for a very flexible cointegration model.

"Moment-Based Estimation of Smooth Transition Regression Models with Endogenous Variables" [PDF]

open access: yes
Nonlinear regression models have been widely used in practice for a variety of time series and cross-section datasets. For purposes of analyzing univariate and multivariate time series data, in particular, Smooth Transition Regression (STR) models have ...

Data‐Driven Discovery of Quaternary Ammonium Interlayers for Efficient and Thermally Stable Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An active learning framework, grounded in independently generated in‐house experimental data, enables reliable discovery of high‐performance interfacial materials for perovskite solar cells. Iterative model refinement autonomously converges toward structurally robust quaternary ammonium architectures, establishing a new design principle for interfacial

Anthropometric multicompartmental model to predict body composition In Brazilian girls

open access: yesBMC Sports Science, Medicine and Rehabilitation, 2017
Background Anthropometric models remain appropriate alternatives to estimate body composition of peripubertal populations. However, these traditional models do not consider other body components that undergo major changes during peripubertal growth spurt,

Resistance to Overdoping Allows Over 2000 S cm−1 Conductivity in P(g3BTTT) With Anion‐Exchange Doping

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Anion‐exchange doping of conjugated polymers is an effective way to achieve high conductivities. Here, we report over 2000 S cm−1 electrical conductivity for doped P(g3BTTT). In addition, we show that P(g3BTTT) sustains exceptionally high doping levels without any drop in the charge mobility.
