Understanding Egg Price Volatility and Policy Implications in the U.S. With Machine Learning
ABSTRACT Eggs are an inexpensive and sustainable source of proteins, but volatility in the U.S. egg prices has intensified in recent years, raising concerns over food affordability and market stability. This study examines the drivers of U.S. egg price dynamics over 2004–2025 using a two‐stage framework that combines LASSO‐based variable selection with

An inequality for the multivariate normal distribution
Herman Chernoff used Hermite polynomials to prove an inequality for the normal distribution. This inequality is useful in solving a variation of the classical isoperimetric problem which, in turn, is relevant to data compression in the theory of element ...

Morbidity Among the Aging Population in Northern Bangladesh: An Epidemiological Study
Multimorbidity (≥ 2 chronic diseases) is common among aging populations, yet evidence from Bangladesh remains limited. A cross‐sectional survey of 540 older adults in Northern Bangladesh (June–August 2022) assessed multimorbidity using interviews and logistic regression analysis. Multimorbidity prevalence was 75.74% (95% CI: 71.9%–79.3%).

Multivariate L1 Statistical Methods: The Package MNM
In the paper we present an R package MNM dedicated to multivariate data analysis based on the L_1 norm. The analysis proceeds very much as does a traditional multivariate analysis. The regular L_2 norm is just replaced by different L_1 norms, observation

U.S. Consumer Preferences for Cage‐Free Eggs and Hen Housing Policies
ABSTRACT Farm animal welfare (FAW) continues to be a divisive issue in the egg industry. In the United States, 10 states and most major retailers have implemented policies or voluntary pledges to transition to 100% cage‐free egg sales. We use best‐worst scaling and discrete choice experiments to evaluate U.S.
