Multivariate Analysis of Time Series

2013
Time series are encountered in every field of medicine. Traditional tests are unable to assess trends, seasonality, change points and the effects of multiple predictors like treatment modalities simultaneously. Autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) is able to do all of that, but is, virtually, unused in medicine.

Multivariate Time Series Analysis

2007
Nowadays, modern measurement devices are capable to deliver signals with increasing data rates and higher spatial resolutions. When analyzing these data, particular interest is focused on disentangling the network structure underlying the recorded signals.

Time Series Analysis and Multivariate Statistical Analysis.

1985
Abstract : Research was carried out mainly in the areas of time series analysis and multivariate statistical analysis. The most important results in the first area apply to autoregressive and moving average processes. In the second area emphasis was on parameter consistency and elliptically contoured distributions.

Multivariate Time Series Analysis and Forecast

1982
It is well known that the multivariate computer-oriented methods of mathematical statistics are based on independent vector variables essentially. This is why the authors have been concerned, for a decade already, in the elaboration of procedures which could be considered as ”dynamized” variants of the principal component analysis or, in general, the ...

Analysis of multivariate time series predictability based on their features

2020 International Conference on Data Mining Workshops (ICDMW), 2020
In this study we explore the features of time-series that can be used for evaluation of their predictability. We suggest using features based on Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy, correlation dimension and Hurst exponent to test multivariate predictability. Besides we use two new features such as ‘noise measure’ and ‘random walk detection’.

Multivariate hydrologic time series analysis

Advances in Water Resources, 1981
Abstract The objective of this study is to establish a multivariate watershed hydrologic system model involving meteorological data as the input and river flow as the output of the system. Monthly hydrological time series of runoff, temperature and precipitation were selected for analysis.

Parametric time series models for multivariate EEG analysis

Computers and Biomedical Research, 1977
Abstract The autoregressive (AR) and mixed autoregressive-moving average (AR-MA) parametric models of stationary time series are of current interest for the purposes of spectral analysis and for the extraction of features for automatic EEG classification.

Application of Grey Relational Analysis for Multivariate Time Series

2008 Eighth International Conference on Intelligent Systems Design and Applications, 2008
Grey relational analysis (GRA) has been widely applied in analysing multivariate time series data (MTS). It is an alternate solution to the traditional statistical limitations. GRA is employed to search for grey relational grade (GRG) which can be used to describe the relationships between the data attributes and to determine the important factors that

Data Analysis of Multivariate Time Series of Insect Tracking

2018 Joint 10th International Conference on Soft Computing and Intelligent Systems (SCIS) and 19th International Symposium on Advanced Intelligent Systems (ISIS), 2018
Tracking animals using transmitters is a busy research branch in zoology. In this paper, we study the effect of a temperature and transmitter's weight on a field cricket's movement. We recorded the movement of 180 field crickets with a 4K camera and the captured movies were analyzed by a novel tracking algorithm based on a soft-computing technique ...
