Alternative animal model for Pasteurella multocida and Haemorrhagic septicaemia
A suitable animal model is essential in understanding a condition caused by microorganisms. In this study in order to study the changes in haemorrahgic septicaemia caused by Pasteurella multocida serotype B, Sprague-Dawley (SK/WDY) rats were immuo ...

Immune-histochemistry and molecular characterization techniques for detection of Pasteurella spp virulence genes in cattle [PDF]
Fifty three pneumonic cattle lung of both sexes were sampled. Fourteen bacterial isolates (12 P. multocida and 2 M. haemolytica) were positively approved from lung tissue. Isolation occurred by ordinary colonial and biochemical confirmation.
