Meteorological Applications, Volume 32, Issue 4, July/August 2025.The study analyzed spatial variability and temporal trends in the extreme precipitation regime of the Kagera sub‐basin from 1981 to 2023. The results generally indicate an increasing trend of ETCCDI extreme precipitation indices and SPI in the Kagera sub‐basin.
