Municipal Bonds : Is India ready for more?
In India, municipal development projects benefiting the public often get impeded by the political and institutional framework of the Central Government. In many cases in India, a major constraint is financing these projects. According to the 12th Finance

Finnish Local Government Barometer 2001: Municipal Managers, Chairmen of Municipal Executive Boards
Tutkimuksessa kartoitettiin kunnan- ja kaupunginjohtajien sekä kunnan- ja kaupunginhallitusten puheenjohtajien mielipiteitä kunnista työnantajina. Vastaajilta kysyttiin, millaisen arvosanan he antavat muun muassa kunnan palkkatasosta, lomaeduista, uralla

Nanoscale secondary ion mass spectrometry (Nano SIMS) is established as a powerful analytical tool to visualize and quantify the membrane fouling layers. ABSTRACT Membrane technology has garnered considerable attention for applications in wastewater treatment and resource recovery. Nevertheless, membrane fouling remains a major barrier, yet the lack of

Bioinspired Morphology‐Decoupled Soft Gripper with Enhanced Bidirectional Grasping Capability
Inspired by biological predation, a novel gripper decouples cross‐modal grasping via dual morphological configurations. Synergistically integrating hybrid rigid and soft coupled fingers with a metamaterial palm, the system performs active compliant grasping for static objects and passive cage capture for dynamic targets.

ABSTRACT Blood‐based liquid biopsies hold transformative potential for non‐invasive cancer management, but current approaches relying on rare circulating tumor components limit their broad clinical utility. Platelets, abundant in blood and mediating diverse cancer‐associated responses, represent a compelling yet largely unexplored alternative.

SETD1A is a key epigenetic regulator in NPCs during IDD. In normal NPCs, it sustains H3K4me3–HELZ2/PPARα–HIF1α signaling to maintain glycolytic energy metabolism and proliferation. In degenerated NPCs, reduced SETD1A disrupts this axis, impairing glycolysis and accelerating senescence, highlighting a promising therapeutic target for IDD.

Retina‐Inspired Bi‐Based Terahertz Photonic Neuromorphic Devices
Combined with effective band alignment and substrate engineering, bismuth materials are introduced to form terahertz photonic bio‐inspired devices with picosecond short‐term plasticity to enable multi‐scene visual perception. Thus obtained hardware through the terahertz optical neural network (THz‐ONN) demonstrates high recognition accuracy, providing ...

Reinforcing Oxygen Activation of Spinel Oxide via Mn─O Covalency Engineering for VOCs Oxidation
A MnCo spinel catalyst with weakened Mn─O covalency was synthesized via a hard‐template method. The reduced Mn─O covalency facilitates localized electron redistribution, promoting the activation of both molecular oxygen and lattice oxygen, and thereby enabling the efficient and complete oxidation of VOCs (ethyl acetate, toluene, and propane).
