Detailed report on the measurement of the positive muon anomalous magnetic moment to 0.20 ppm
We present details on a new measurement of the muon magnetic anomaly, aμ=(gμ-2)/2. The result is based on positive muon data taken at Fermilab\u27s Muon Campus during the 2019 and 2020 accelerator runs.

Conventional to slow muon microscopy – a review
Because of special characteristics (fully spin polarized and asymmetric decay to positron), muon acts as sensitive probe to study the local electronic and dynamics of materials.

This article proposes an unusual mechanism of muon structurogenesis in which the particle is formed with the involvement of antimatter. When positrons (antimatter) and electrons (matter) combine, they create particles more complex than positronium. Despite its apparent paradoxical nature, this mechanism has allowed for the discovery of the law of muon ...

Absence of magnetic order in RuO2: insights from μSR spectroscopy and neutron diffraction
Altermagnets are a novel class of magnetic materials, where magnetic order is staggered both in coordinate and momentum space. The metallic rutile oxide RuO2, long believed to be a textbook Pauli paramagnet, recently emerged as a putative workhorse ...

First Cosmic muon seen in four barrel muon stations at point 5 on 13 December 2005
One of the 400k cosmic muons recorded for the first time on 13 December 2005 in four stations of the CMS barrel muon system at point 5 in Cessy. In the transverse r-phi view each station records the position of the muon in two super-layers of drift tubes
