Colorful particle production at high-energy muon colliders
A high-energy μ + μ − collider provides a wide variety of mechanisms for the production of new heavy particles. While the reach for such particles via the direct annihilation of μ + μ − will approach the center-of-mass energy of the collider, the ...

Simulated Characteristics of On‐Ground Gamma‐Ray Glows
Abstract High‐energy emissions from thunderclouds have been observed in the Hokuriku Japanese region during winter. The winter thunderclouds have lower altitudes that allow ground measurements due to the shorter distance between electrified regions and observation site, reducing the electrons' free passage distance.

Abstract The production, attenuation, and absorption of secondary cosmic rays (SCR) are influenced by atmospheric parameters such as air pressure and temperature. To reliably correlate SCR flux measurements with atmospheric ionization driven by energetic particle precipitation, these dependencies must be quantified.

Probing Higgs-muon interactions at a multi-TeV muon collider
We study the capabilities of a muon collider, at 3 and 10 TeV center-of-mass energy, of probing the interactions of the Higgs boson with the muon. We consider all the possible processes involving the direct production of EW bosons (W, Z and H) with up to

Shallow Nitrogen Vacancy Color Centers in Diamond by Ion Implantation
This study investigates the formation of shallow nitrogen‐vacancy (NV) centers in CVD diamond through broad‐beam ion implantation across a SiO₂ layer. By adjusting the ion incidence angle, the distribution of NV centers is controlled, as predicted by sytopping and range of ions in matter (SRIM) simulations and confirmed by angle‐resolved X‐ray ...

Muon collider signatures for a Z′ with a maximal μ − τ coupling in U(1)Lμ−Lτ
The gauged U(1)Lμ−Lτ model is a candidate model for explaining the muon g-2 anomaly because the Z′ in the model has a natural normal coupling to muon. Due to other experimental data constraints the viable mass range for the usual Z′ is constrained to be ...

Two Micron‐Size Dark Dimensions
Abstract Two extra dimensions of micron scale might simultaneously address the gauge and cosmological hierarchy problems. In this paper various observational bounds in scenarios with one and two large extra dimensions are examined, to see if they are compatible with the micron scale.
