The Space Within: How Architected Voids Promote Tissue Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review explores the role of void spaces in tissue engineering scaffolds and examines four key methods for introducing porosity into hydrogels at different scales. It discusses sacrificial templating, microgels, phase separation, and 3D printing, highlighting principles, advantages, and limitations. It also addresses emerging strategies integrating

Single‐Cell Hyperthermia: Diamond Quantum Thermometry Reveals Thermal Control of Macrophage Polarization

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Photothermal nanodiamonds with quantum sensing capabilities generate lysosome‐confined hyperthermia, enabling simultaneous temperature and radical detection via diamond sensing. This localized thermal and oxidative stress drives pro‐inflammatory (M1) macrophage polarization, revealing a new strategy for precision immunomodulation through subcellular ...

Electrically Tunable Friction: From Sticky to Slippery with Ionic Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates electrically tunable friction “from sticky to slippery” using ionic hydrogels, achieving reversible more‐than‐fifty‐fold modulation without liquid lubricants. An electric field extracts a salt‐rich interfacial layer that dramatically reduces friction.

Effect of Rocuronium on mean arterial pressure & heart rate in undergoing elective surgical patients ASA1

open access: yesمجله دانشگاه علوم پزشکی گرگان, 2003
Background and Objective: From 1942 when Griffith & Johnson suggested that muscle relaxants are safe drugs for better laryngoscopy & intubation and good for skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery, many of muscle relaxants discovered with different ...
