New records and co-occurrence in the Amazon Region of Colombia of Short-eared Dog, Atelocynus microtis (Sclater, 1883), and Crab-eating Fox, Cerdocyon thous (Linnaeus, 1766) (Mammalia, Canidae) [PDF]
Atelocynus microtis (Sclater, 1883) is a rare canid whose distribution spans the entire Amazon Basin. It is the least known canid in Colombia, where sightings have been reported from six localities.

ABSTRACT Since the 2000s, Mapuche communities' participation has transformed the Mapuche Museum of Cañete. This participation shifted the institution's concept, curation, and conservation practices. From the second half of the 2010s onwards, other‐than‐human politics reshaped the participatory process.

Based on distinctive morphological and vocal characters we describe a new species of jewel‐babbler (genus Ptilorrhoa) from the forested karst of the Southern Fold Mountains in Papua New Guinea. The description is based on camera trap data and is presented in accordance with ICZN Declaration 45.
