Abstract Introduction Reef‐forming shellfish facilitate biodiversity through providing structural complexity in benthic habitats. Globally, reef‐forming shellfish have been overharvested to near extirpation, with a corresponding loss in biodiversity. Mussel shell material, an aquaculture by‐product, has the potential to rehabilitate ecosystem services ...

HEV epidemiology in solid organ (SOT) and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell (allo‐HSCT) transplant recipients in Switzerland between 2010 and 2017. HEV RNA incidence is more than 20‐fold higher in the transplant cohort than in Swiss blood donors. Although most infections were likely of dietary origin, one transfusion‐transmitted HEV case was detected.

ABSTRACT Background The edible insect industry, driven by the nutritional and environmental benefits of mealworms, faces increasing challenges from pathogens affecting Tenebrio molitor farming systems. Hemocyte‐based health assessments could provide valuable diagnostic insights, yet standardized hemolymph processing protocols and hematological ...

ABSTRACT Temperate lake ecosystems undergo seasonal shifts that disproportionately alter the availability of suitable habitat for fishes of different thermal guilds. While many studies have investigated fish habitat use patterns, few have estimated the degree to which fish species overlap in space across seasons from a three‐dimensional perspective ...

ABSTRACT The spatial distribution of economic activities is central to regional economics. However, empirical tools for comparing industries based on the similarity of their spatial distributions remain limited. Traditional cluster analysis typically ignores geographical distance and connectivity, while spatial methods focus on clustering places rather
