Morphological and molecular identification of Mustelus mustelus and Mustelus punctulatus
2012Mustelus is the most species-rich genus of the widespread family Triakidae and represents a significant fraction of the elasmobranch catch in the northern Adriatic Sea where the common (M. mustelus) and blackspotted (M. punctulatus) smooth-hound co-occur.

Feeding habits of species Mustelus mustelus and M. punctulatus are investigated. 58 stomachs of M. punctulatus (TL = 69.5 - 111.3 cm), of which 50 (86.2 percent) stomachs contained food, and 49 stomachs of M. mustelus (TL = 70.5 - 135.7 cm), of which 42 (85.7 percent) stomachs contained food, were investigated.

Blackspotted smooth‐hound (Mustelus punctulatus Risso, 1827) is frequently recorded and commercially exploited demersal shark, classified by IUCN Red List as Data Deficient. We used histological and morphometrical techniques on reproductive organs and vertebrae to analyse demographic and reproductive traits of blackspotted smooth‐hound.

2013Analiziran je sadržaj probavnog sustava 189 jedinki morskog psa mekuša, Mustelus punctulatus, ulovljenih na području sjevernog Jadrana, u vremenskom razdoblju od 2005. do 2007. godine. 2010Istraživanje prehrane morskog psa mekuša, Mustelus punctulatus (Risso, 1826) provedeno je na 114 jedinki prikupljenih iz ulova pridnenih koća u vremenu od veljače 2005. do srpnja 2007. godine u vanjskim vodama Lošinjskog akvatorija, između 44°91’ i 43°59’ sjeverne geografske širine i 14°06’ i 14°49’ istočne geografske dužine.
