Cross-Band Mutual Coupling Reduction in Dual-Band Base-Station Antennas With a Novel Grid Frequency Selective Surface

IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2021
In this communication, a grid frequency selective surface (GFSS) is developed for cross-band near-field mutual coupling suppression. The unit cell of the GFSS consists of a break metal strip and a parallel LC resonator.

Mutual Coupling Calibration for Adaptive Array Based on the Mutual Coupling Grid

2019 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology (ICMMT), 2019
A mutual coupling calibration method for the adaptive antenna array is proposed. The method is base on the mutual coupling grid model that is introduced to describe the mutual coupling effect of the adaptive antenna array. On the basis of the gird model, the relationship between the induced terminal voltages due to the elements in the isolated state ...

A General Mutual Coupling Model of MIMO Capacitive Coupling Interface With Arbitrary Number of Ports

IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2021
A general mutual coupling model of multiple input and/or multiple output (MIMO) capacitive coupling interface with an arbitrary number of ports is proposed.

Mutual Caring of Elderly Korean Couples

Journal of Transcultural Nursing, 2007
The article described the experiences of elderly couples caring for each other using ethnographic methodology. Ten couples were interviewed in depth. The presence of a support system was found to be the primary requirement of elderly couples. Three taxonomies comprised the support system: (a) desire for respect in care, (b) desire for reliance, and (c)

Direction-of-Arrival Estimation of Coherent Signals Under Direction-Dependent Mutual Coupling

IEEE Communications Letters, 2021
In this letter, we develop an effective algorithm for direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation of coherent signals in the presence of direction-dependent mutual coupling.

Robust Adaptive Beamforming Against Mutual Coupling Based on Mutual Coupling Coefficients Estimation

IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2017
In an adaptive beamforming system, the mutual coupling effects among the array elements can seriously degrade the system performance. In this paper, we propose a robust adaptive beamforming algorithm using a uniform linear array (ULA) to mitigate the mutual coupling effects.

Sparsity Enhancement in Mutuality Coupled Networks

IEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems, 1984
Mutual coupling in three-phase or zero-sequence networks often results in severe sparsity degredation in network analyses based on the nodal admittance matrix. Retention of mid-line nodes in the zero-sequence nodal admittance matrix results in sparsity enhancement and computational improvements.

Circularly Polarized MIMO Dielectric Resonator Antenna With Reduced Mutual Coupling

IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2021
A circularly polarized (CP) multiple-input–multiple-output (MIMO) antenna is investigated. This MIMO antenna consists of two identical dielectric resonator antennas (DRAs), which use the same feeding cross slots to generate the same CP fields. Four metal

MUTUAL COUPLING STUDY

1967
Abstract : The report gives the complete derivation (in an appendix) of the radiation admittance of a rectangular waveguide acting as an element in an infinite phased array. The derived equations are capable of predicting the experimentally observed anomalous notch that has been found to exist in arrays composed of large waveguides.

Noise in Mutually Coupled Oscillators

9th European Microwave Conference, 1979, 1979
A general noise theory for microwave oscillators, which is based upon the describing function method, is developed and applied to the cases of mutually coupled and multiple-device oscillators. Explicit expressions are derived for the output power, the FM-and the AM-noise.
