This study investigates electromechanical PUFs that improve on traditional electric PUFs. The electron transport materials are coated randomly through selective ligand exchange. It produces multiple keys and a key with motion dependent on percolation and strain, and approaches almost ideal inter‐ and intra‐hamming distances.

Thermal Phase‐Modulation of Thickness‐Dependent CVD‐Grown 2D In2Se3
A comprehensive study of CVD‐grown 2D In2Se3 reveals a distinct thickness‐dependent phase landscape and a reversible, thermally driven transformation between β″ and β* variants. In situ TEM electron diffraction and Raman spectroscopy reveal structural dynamics, while the structural invariance of the α‐phase in ultrathin regimes highlights its stability—

Generating effective project scheduling heuristics by abstraction and reconstitution [PDF]
A project scheduling problem consists of a finite set of jobs, each with fixed integer duration, requiring one or more resources such as personnel or equipment, and each subject to a set of precedence relations, which specify allowable job orderings, and

An $\Omega(n \log n)$ Lower Bound on the Cost of Mutual Exclusion [PDF]
We prove an $\Omega(n \log n)$ lower bound on the number ofnon-busywaiting memory accesses by any deterministic algorithm solving$n$ process mutual exclusion that communicates via shared registers. The cost of the algorithm is measured in the \emph{state ...

Towards a Software Transactional Memory for heterogeneous CPU-GPU processors [PDF]
The heterogeneous Accelerated Processing Units (APUs) integrate a multi-core CPU and a GPU within the same chip. Modern APUs provide the programmer with platform atomics, used to communicate the CPU cores with the GPU using simple atomic datatypes ...
