Mutual interference suppression methods in ultra-wideband navigation systems with combined data channel [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Effective mutual interference suppression methods are proposed for terrestrial ultra-wideband systems of mediumwave band. Navigation signals modulated with data provide higher accuracy, satellite and terrestrial systems integration.

A Lower Bound on Secrecy Capacity for MIMO Wiretap Channel Aided by a Cooperative Jammer With Channel Estimation Error

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
We consider a multiple-input multiple-output wiretap channel with one transmitter, one receiver, one cooperative jammer, and one eavesdropper whereby each node is equipped with multiple antennas.

Mutual Interference of Adenovirus Infection and myc Expression [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Virology, 2003
ABSTRACT During infection with adenovirus, massive changes in the transcription of virus genes are observed, suggesting that the expression of cellular genes may also be modulated. To characterize the levels of cellular RNA species in infected cells, cDNA arrays were screened 24 h after infection of HeLa cells with wild-type ...

Impacts of Mutual Interference Analysis in FMCW Automotive Radar

open access: yes, 2023
Mutual interference in the frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar is studied, and the influence of the FMCW interference on the beat frequency is analyzed.

A Geometric Programming Solution for the Mutual-Interference Model in HetNets [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Communications Letters, 2016
It is well known that the use of heterogeneous networks and densification strategies will be crucial to handle the wireless cellular traffic increase that is foreseen in the forthcoming years. Hence, the scientific community is putting effort into the proposal and assessment of radio resource management solutions for this type of deployments. For that,

Classification of Interference Signal for Automotive Radar Systems With Convolutional Neural Network

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
When a radar signal generated by another vehicle arrives at an ego-vehicle, mutual interference occurs, which can seriously degrade the detection performance of the radar.

Dynamical analysis on a predator–prey model with stage structure and mutual interference

open access: yesJournal of Biological Dynamics, 2020
In this paper, we formulate a stage-structured predator–prey model with mutual interference, in which includes two discrete delays. By theoretical analysis, we establish the stability of the unique positive equilibrium and the existence of Hopf ...

Alien Pulse Rejection in Concurrent Firing LIDAR

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
Mobile pulse light detection and ranging (LIDAR) is an essential component of autonomous vehicles. The obstacle detection function of autonomous vehicles requires very low failure rates.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.
