Nonspectrality of Certain Self-Affine Measures on ℝ3
We will determine the nonspectrality of self-affine measure μB,D corresponding to B=diag[p1,p2,p3] (p1∈(2ℤ+1)∖{±1}, p2∈2ℤ∖{0}), and D={0,e1,e2,e3} in the space ℝ3 is supported on T(B,D), where e1, e2, and e3 are the standard basis of unit column ...

A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF RADIATION FROM CIRCULAR AND RECTANGULAR APERTURES: LIMITATIONS ON THEIR USE FOR BESSEL BEAM FORMATION [PDF]
Subject and Purpose. Essentials of the processes for millimeter-wavelength radiation from circular apertures are analyzed, with emphasis on the formation of the field’s radiation pattern (RP) and modal structure in the aperture.

Mutually consistent magnetic charts based on orthogonal functions
A method is developed for expanding a set of observations of the horizontal vector of the earth's magnetic field in a set of orthogonal polynomials, each of which is curl free. The final result is a pair of simple polynomials, one each for X and Y, such that the radial component of the curl of the predicted geomagnetic field vanishes identically.

This review focuses on the role of autophagy and mitophagy in maintaining pancreatic β‐cell function and homeostasis. We discuss how genetic defects affecting these pathways contribute to the development of type 1, type 2, monogenic, and gestational diabetes. We further explore their potential as therapeutic targets. Created in BioRender.

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.
