Mathematics, 2022 BL-algebras are algebraic structures corresponding to Hajek’s basic fuzzy logic. The aim of this paper is to analyze the structure of BL-algebras using commutative rings. Due to computational considerations, we are interested in the finite case.

, 2005 We consider the identities of a variety of semigroup-related algebras modelling the algebra of partial maps. We show that the identities are intimately related to a weak semigroup deductive system and we show that the equational theory is decidable.
