Rough Operations and Uncertainty Measures on MV-Algebras
We define a lower approximate operation and an upper approximate operation based on a partition on MV-algebras and discuss their properties. We then introduce a belief measure and a plausibility measure on MV-algebras and investigate the relationship ...

Pseudo MV-algebras and Lexicographic Product [PDF]
We study algebraic conditions when a pseudo MV-algebra is an interval in the lexicographic product of an Abelian unital $\ell$-group and an $\ell$-group that is not necessary Abelian.

Lexicographic pseudo MV-algebras
A lexicographic pseudo MV-algebra is an algebra that is isomorphic to an interval in the lexicographic product of a linear unital group with an arbitrary $\ell$-group. We present conditions when a pseudo MV-algebra is lexicographic. We show that a key condition is the existence of a lexicographic ideal, or equivalently, a case when the algebra can be ...

On Solutions to the Set-Theoretical Yang-Baxter Equation in Wajsberg-Algebras
In this work, we introduce Wajsberg algebras which are equivalent structures to MV-algebras in their implicational version, and then we define new notions and give new solutions to the set-theoretical Yang-Baxter equation by using Wajsberg algebras.

A representation theorem for MV-algebras
An {\em MV-pair} is a pair $(B,G)$ where $B$ is a Boolean algebra and $G$ is a subgroup of the automorphism group of $B$ satisfying certain conditions. Let $\sim_G$ be the equivalence relation on $B$ naturally associated with $G$. We prove that for every

Abstract Scholars have tended to interpret Thomas Nettleton's bestselling Virtue and Happiness (1729) as an Epicurean work. In contrast, I argue that this book was constructed partly from extensive paraphrases of the writings of Locke, Shaftesbury, and Hutcheson.

Filters of strong Sheffer stroke non-associative MV-algebras
In this paper, at first we study strong Sheffer stroke NMV-algebra. For getting more results and some classification, the notions of filters and subalgebras are introduced and studied.

On some properties of quasi-MV algebras and square root quasi-MV algebras, IV
In the present paper, which is a sequel to [20, 4, 12], we investigate further the structure theory of quasiMV algebras and √0quasi-MV algebras. In particular: we provide a new representation of arbitrary √0qMV algebras in terms of √0qMV algebras ...

TrkA abundance is increased in cutaneous nerves in bortezomib‐induced neuropathy
Cutaneous nerves in bortezomib‐induced peripheral neuropathy (BIPN) show reduced nerve fiber density, increased TrkA expression, and enhanced dermal angiogenesis, highlighting a pathological switch in NGF/TrkA signaling that may contribute to nerve damage and pain. Abstract Tropomyosin receptor kinase A (TrkA), a high‐affinity receptor for nerve growth

The Legacy of Policy Inaction in Climate‐Growth Models
ABSTRACT To better understand the structure and core mechanisms of a broad class of climate‐growth models, we study a simplified version of the dynamic integrated model of climate and the economy (DICE) through the lens of growth theory. We analytically show that this model features a continuum of saddle‐point stable steady states.
