Tenazität von Mycoplasma bovis
Zentralblatt für Bakteriologie, Mikrobiologie und Hygiene. Series A: Medical Microbiology, Infectious Diseases, Virology, Parasitology, 1984Abstract The survival of Mycoplasma bovis was examined on or in different sterilized carriers which normally may have contact to cows (sponge, cotton, wire, glass, wood, straw, tap water, milk). At 4°C M. bovis survived on sponges 57 days, in milk 54 and in Mycoplasma medium for 50 days. At 20°C survival time was 1 to 2 weeks, at 37°C 1 week.

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) production and oxygen uptake during the oxidation of NADH and L-alpha-glycerophosphate (GP) by lysed cells was determined for the type and field strains of Mycoplasma bovis and M. agalactiae. NADH oxidation by all the strains showed variable production of H2O2 ranging from 0 to 1.21 mol/mol O2 taken up.

The products of the ‘film and spots’ reaction of Mycoplasma bovis ( M. agalactiae subsp. bovis ) and M. bovigenitalium were identified as a mixture of phospholipids, neutral lipids and water-soluble products. An individual substrate was identified and possible enzymic reactions discussed. The inhibition of the film by specific field sera was also

Comment diagnostiquer Mycoplasma bovis
