Cross‐sectional study among 70 sexual health clinic attendees (70% MSM) in Bucharest combining multisite STI testing with knowledge, attitudes, and practices assessment. Key findings include 35.5% bacterial STI prevalence, essential extragenital testing, and cost barriers to screening uptake.

Impact of Doxycycline Prophylaxis on Reducing Ureaplasma and Mycoplasma‐Related Complications in Lung Transplant Recipients

open access: yesTransplant Infectious Disease, EarlyView.
Doxycycline prophylaxis in lung transplant recipients was associated with reduced hyperammonemia syndrome and shorter ventilation, ICU, and hospital stays. These findings suggest that doxycycline prophylaxis may help prevent Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma‐related morbidity.
