Abstract Mucosal melanomas (MMs) are rare, aggressive cancers with poor outcomes and limited response to standard therapies. A significant knowledge gap exists regarding their genomic landscape and corresponding druggable targets. This study explores this issue through a multi‐omic analysis, including whole exome‐, RNA‐, and targeted sequencing, of ...

In the pathological context of osteoarthritis (OA), the phosphorylation of AKT1 at Ser473 enhances its binding to Lys140 of Insig1, which facilitates the formation of AKT1–Insig1 complex. Subsequently, the activation of AKT1 promotes the phosphorylation of Insig1 at Ser189, potentially enhancing the dissociation of Insig1 from sterol regulatory element‑

Low‐Dose Cytarabine Plus G‐CSF Induction in Pediatric M2 Acute Myeloid Leukemia: A Multicenter Study
ABSTRACT This retrospective secondary analysis of the multicenter randomized CALS III‐AML18 trial evaluated the efficacy and safety of low‐dose chemotherapy (LDC) compared with standard‐dose chemotherapy (SDC) in children with M2 acute myeloid leukemia (AML‐M2). A total of 221 children were included, with 109 in the LDC arm and 112 in the SDC arm.

This review provides a comprehensive overview of how macrophages, neutrophils, T cells and other immune cells infiltrate the aortic wall, undergo phenotypic shifts and interact with one another in abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). Background Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is a lethal degenerative vascular disease with no approved clinical drugs. Immune

MicroRNA–mRNA Networks in Skeletal Muscle of Tailored Pig Models for Dystrophinopathies
ABSTRACT Background Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) and Becker muscular dystrophy (BMD) are X‐linked dystrophinopathies caused by mutations in the dystrophin (DMD) gene. A common DMD‐causing mutation in humans is exon 52 deletion (DMDΔ52), which disrupts the reading frame and abolishes dystrophin expression.

Eight trained males completed 4 days of normal‐carbohydrate or low‐carbohydrate (81% reduction in carbohydrate) diets while maintaining energy balance and undertaking daily exercise. Low carbohydrate decreased total body water and fat‐free mass, increased circulating free fatty acids, glycerol and β‐hydroxybutyrate, alongside increased fat oxidation at
