Traumatic myositis ossificans of the temporal muscle after dental local anesthesia. [PDF]
Key Clinical Message Traumatic myositis ossificans of the temporal muscle can occur following local trauma. The diagnosis could be considered for patients presenting with therapy‐resistant trismus after intraoral procedures. Abstract A female in her 30s developed ossification of the temporal muscle attachment after local trauma during dental treatment,

Pathogenic mutation hotspots in protein kinase domain structure
Abstract Control of eukaryotic cellular function is heavily reliant on the phosphorylation of proteins at specific amino acid residues, such as serine, threonine, tyrosine, and histidine. Protein kinases that are responsible for this process comprise one of the largest families of evolutionarily related proteins.

Moreover, there is a trend in soft tissue pathology toward increasing use of molecular results for tumor classification and prognostication. Hence, diagnosing

Myositis ossificans circumscripta of the buccinator muscle: first report of a rare complication of mandibular third molar extraction. [PDF]
Myositis ossificans is a self-limiting ossifying process that most often develops following mechanical trauma to skeletal musculature. It chiefly affects the skeletal muscles of extremities of young athletically active adult males. Myositis ossificans is
