Myxoma is a benign tumour with a propensity for local infiltration and recurrence. Laryngeal myxoma presents as a submucosal polyp. Being an uncommon tumour and mimicking vocal cord polyp, only anecdotal evidence is available in the literature.

Fibrosarcoma on the leg of an adult rhesus macaque (Macaca mulatta)

Abstract This case describes a fibrosarcoma on the left upper leg of an adult female rhesus macaque. The patient was initially presented with a defined swelling at the caudolateral side of the upper leg. Medially from the growth, a swollen circular wound had formed with a fistula leading in the direction of the mass.

Odontogenic myxoma is a rare intraosseous neoplasm, which is benign but locally aggressive. It rarely appears in any bone other than the jaws. It is considered to be derived from the mesenchymal portion of the tooth germ. Clinically, it is a slow-growing, expansile, painless, non-metastasizing, central tumor of jaws, chiefly the mandible.
