Strategies to Enhance Ionic Conductivity of Na3Zr2Si2O12 Solid Electrolyte for Advanced Solid‐State Sodium Batteries

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
This review presents a comprehensive summary and discussion of some optimization strategies for enhancing room‐temperature ionic conductivity of Na3Zr2Si2PO12 (NZSP) solid electrolyte for solid‐state sodium batteries, including foreign‐ion doping or substitution, sintering behavior modulation, and regulation of chemical composition based on precursors.

Undecomposed Twigs in the Leaf Litter as Nest‐Building Resources for Ants (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) in Areas of the Atlantic Forest in the Southeastern Region of Brazil

open access: yesPsyche: A Journal of Entomology, Volume 2012, Issue 1, 2012., 2012
In tropical forests, the leaf‐litter stratum exhibits one of the greatest abundances of ant species. This diversity is associated with the variety of available locations for nest building. Ant nests can be found in various microhabitats, including tree trunks and fallen twigs in different stages of decomposition.

A new cricket genus and first record of Neometrypini (Orthoptera: Oecanthidae) in the Caatinga, Brazil

open access: yesAustral Entomology, Volume 65, Issue 1, February 2026.
Abstract Biological collections are fundamental resources for biodiversity research, although they remain underutilised in many taxonomic efforts. In this study, we examine specimens deposited in the Entomological Collection of the Museu de Zoologia da Universidade de São Paulo (MZSP) to describe a new genus and species of cricket belonging to the ...

A Revision of the Neotropical Orb‐Weaving Spider Genus Scoloderus (Araneae: Araneidae)

open access: yesPsyche: A Journal of Entomology, Volume 102, Issue 1-2, Page 49-72, 1995., 1995
More than one‐fourth of the spiders examined for this revision were collected since the neotropical genus Scoloderus was revised in 1976. Thirteen names have been proposed for what appear to be five valid species (Scoloderus cordatus, S. gibber, S. nigriceps, S. tuberculifer, and S. ackerlyi).
