Exploring oxide quasicrystals in internal space. [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallogr A Found Adv
The internal space expansion with variable system size is investigated for three different oxide quasicrystal systems. Patches of 7800, 4800 and 3600 vertices are examined in Ba–Ti–O/Pt(111), Eu–Ti–O/Pd(111) and Sr–Ti–O/Pd(111), respectively. This internal space inspection provides unique structural information for quasicrystalline systems, which goes ...

Controlling sharpness, SNR, and specific absorption rate for 3D fast-spin echo at 7T by end-to-end learning. [PDF]

open access: yesMagn Reson Med
Abstract Purpose To non‐heuristically identify dedicated variable flip angle (VFA) schemes optimized for the point‐spread function (PSF) and SNR of multiple tissues in 3D FSE sequences with very long echo trains at 7T. Methods The proposed optimization considers predefined specific absorption rate (SAR) constraints and target contrast using an end‐to ...

Continua whose hyperspace of subcontinua is infinite dimensional and a cone

open access: yesExtracta Mathematicae, 2023
We determine several classes of continua whose hyperspaces of subcontinua are infinite dimensional and homeomorphic to cones over (usually) other continuum. In particular, we obtain many Peano continua with such a property.

Properties of the (n, m)−fold hyperspace suspension of continua

open access: yesRevista Integración, 2022
Let n, m ∈ N with m ≤ n and X be a metric continuum. We consider the hyperspaces Cn(X) (respectively, Fn(X)) of all nonempty closed subsets of X with at most n components (respectively, n points).

Robot‐Assisted Reconstruction and Control of the Pechmann Reaction Network

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 6, 2 February 2026.
Using an in‐house built robotic platform, we systematically explored the classic Pechmann reaction across a wide range of reaction conditions, uncovering a rich and previously unexplored network of reactivity. This approach led to the discovery of 11 novel products, including rare benzofurans formed through non‐classical pathways.

C1(X) on the edge of C2(X)

open access: yesApplied General Topology
Given a continuum X and a positive integer n, let Cn(X) be the hyperspace consisting of all nonempty closed subsets of X having at most n components. For a subcontinuum A of X having empty interior, consider the following properties: A is a subcontinuum ...

A Sensitivity Analysis Workflow for Power Series Compounded Lifetime Models: Evidence From Weibull Power Series Fits

open access: yesQuality and Reliability Engineering International, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We propose a practical procedure to quantify the time varying influence of parameters on hazard functions for power series compounded lifetime models. The procedure combines likelihood based fitting with a two stage sensitivity analysis and applies to a range of baselines and compounding laws.

Beyond 5G and Non‐terrestrial Network (NTN) Integrated Architecture: Access Challenges for Expanding Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT)

open access: yesInternational Journal of Satellite Communications and Networking, Volume 44, Issue 4, Page 378-393, July/August 2026.
ABSTRACT This study analyzes the architecture of the beyond 5G‐NTN (Non‐terrestrial Network) integrated network and presents the technical, legal, and regulatory challenges and considerations for expanding the Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) ecosystem.

Dynamic Resource Allocation for LEO Satellite Systems Under Heterogeneous Traffic Distributions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Satellite Communications and Networking, Volume 44, Issue 2, Page 199-209, March/April 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper proposes an efficient resource allocation scheme for low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite systems. Taking into account the unique characteristics of LEO systems for 6G communication services, we introduce a dynamic bandwidth and power allocation scheme specifically designed to accommodate highly heterogeneous traffic distributions.

Real‐Time Detection and Prevention of DoS Attack in Unmanned Marine Vehicles Using Machine Learning

open access: yesSECURITY AND PRIVACY, Volume 9, Issue 2, March/April 2026.
ABSTRACT Unmanned marine vehicles (UMVs) are one of the most crucial components of the underwater communication and surveillance system in the marine and oceanographic environment. This research introduces a novel approach to stabilize the connection in an unstable underwater environment by inheriting features of communication velocities.
