Patient‐derived xenograft models in pan‐cancer: From bench to clinic

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Patient‐derived xenograft (PDX) models provide a robust preclinical platform that preserves the genetic and phenotypic heterogeneity of patient tumors while mirroring their tumor genetic characteristics, which retain malignant cells and the tumor pathological structure, making them valuable for studying tumor progression and developing ...

IL‐21 Loading CaMnCO3 Vitality Backpacks Boost CAR‐T Cell Synergistic Immunotherapy

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This work designs CaMnCO3 nanoparticles loaded with IL‐21, which simultaneously alleviates the acidity and hypoxia of the tumor microenvironment, serving as vitality backpacks for CAR‐T cells. These nanoparticles consistently enhance the effectiveness of CAR‐T cell therapy against solid tumors in both low‐ and high‐dose infusion models by gradually and

Deciphering diverse cell‐death patterns to predict the prognosis and potential therapy target of hepatocellular carcinoma patients

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
Abstract Ninety percent of all primary liver malignancies are hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC), making liver cancer the third most common cause of cancer‐associated mortality. Different patterns of programmed cell death (PCD) are crucial for the survival of tumors, and they might serve as a prognostic marker for HCC.

SQSTM1/p62 Orchestrates Skin Aging via USP7 Degradation

open access: yesAging Cell, EarlyView.
p62 exhibits diminished expression in aging skin and senescent cells. p62 serves to inhibit the accumulation of USP7 during senescence induction. The Tyr‐67 residue within the PB1 domain or Gln‐418 within the UBA domain of p62 forms a hydrogen bond with Ala‐993 of the Ubl5 domain of USP7.

Regulation of the MAPK/ERK Pathway by miRNA‐27b in Gastric Cancer: Diagnostic Implications and Therapeutic Potential of Aloin

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Clinical Oncology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Globally, gastric cancer (GC) ranks as the fourth most deadly and fifth most prevalent kind of cancer. Appropriate treatment methods, precise etiology, and molecular processes of GC are still unclear. Methods In silico and quantitative real‐time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT‐PCR)‐based expression of miRNA‐27b ...
