Metastable reactions in small cluster ions: (CO2)n+, (NH3)2H+ and (H2O)2H+
International Journal of Mass Spectrometry and Ion Physics, 1983Abstract Pure mestastable transitions have been observed for loss of CO2 from (CO2)n+ for n = 2,3,4,5; for loss of NH3 from (NH3)2H+·; and for loss of H2O from (H2O)2H+. The experiments were performed in a high resolution reverse geometry instrument (V.G.

Dielectric properties of (CnH2n+1NH3)2CdCl4 and (NH3(CH2)nNH3)CdCl4 perovskite layer compounds
Solid State Communications, 1976Abstract The dielectric properties of (CH3NH3)2CdCl4, NH3(CH2)3NH3.CdCl4 and NH3(CH2)5NH3.CdCl4 single crystals as well as of (CnH2n+1NH3)2CdCl4 (n = 1, 2, 3) and (NH3(CH2)nNH3)CdCl4 (n = 2,3,4,5) pressed powder pellets were investigated as a function of temperature between 77 and 373°K and significant dielectric anomalies were found to occur at ...

[In situ FTIRS studies of reduction of [OsVI(N)(NH3)4](CF3SO3)3 in acetonitrile].
Guang pu xue yu guang pu fen xi = Guang pu, 2004In this paper, the electrochemical cyclic voltammetry, UV/Vis and in situ FTIR spectroscopy were used to study the electrochemical reduction of [OsVI(N)(NH3)4](CF3SO3)3 on GC and Pt electrode in acetonitrile. The results demonstrated that the N-N coupling can occur between [OsVI(N)(NH3)4]3+ and the osmium(V) species generated at the electrode.

Thermochemistry of (H2SO4)m(H2O)n(NH3)k: A DFT Study
2007H 2 SO 4 -H 2 O and H 2 SO 4 -H 2 O-NH 3 nucleation rates in earth's atmosphere are very sensitive to thermodynamics of initial growth steps. However, reliable data on thermochemistry of small H 2 SO 4 -H 2 O and H 2 SO 4 -H 2 O-NH 3 clusters are lacking. This theoretical study is dedicated to the quantum modeling of H 2 SO 4 -H 2 O and H 2 SO 4 -H 2 O-

Magnetic studies of the layered compounds (CH2)n(NH3)2FeCl4, n = 2, 3 and 6
Physica B+C, 1982Abstract The magnetic susceptibility as a function of temperature and field strength of the series of compounds (CH2)n(NH3)2FeCl4, n = 2, 3 and 6 have been investigated. The three compounds undergo magnetic transitions at TN(H = 0) = 105.0±1, 94.5+0.5 and 98.0+0.5 K.

Waste Management & Research: The Journal for a Sustainable Circular Economy, 2004
The presence of ammoniacal nitrogen (N-NH3) in leachate is one of the problems normally faced by landfill operators. Slow leaching of wastes producing nitrogen and no significant mechanism for transformation of N-NH3 in the landfills causes a high concentration of ammoniacal nitrogen in leachate over a long period of time.

Luminescence Measurements of the Hyperthermal Reactions of N/N+ + NH3
The Journal of Physical Chemistry A, 2023Chemiluminescence from a system of collisions, N+/N/Kr+/Kr/Xe+/Xe + NH3, at collision energies between 10 and 170 eV (center of mass, COM), was measured in the spectral range 300-1000 nm. The energy dependence of the emission excitation cross sections was quantified, and molecular signatures were fit to known spectroscopic constants to determine ...

Electrical conductivity of the compounds (CH2)n(NH3)2FeCl4−xBrx (n = 8,9 and 10, x = 0,1 and 2)
Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, 1988Abstract The electrical conductivity of the compounds (CH 2 ) n (NH 3 ) 2 FeCl 4− x Br x ( n = 8, 9 and 10 and ( x = 0, 1 and 2) was measured in the temperature range from liquid nitrogen up to near the melting point of the samples. The effects of a gradual replacement of Cl − ions by Br − ions as well as the effect of layer spacing on the ...

81Br NQR Study of [NH3(CH2)nNH3]CdBr4 (n = 4 and 5) and [NH3(CH2)nNH3]ZnBr4 (n = 5 and 6)
Hyperfine Interactions, 200581Br NQR frequencies and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) were measured as a function of temperature. [NH3(CH2)4 NH3]CdBr4 (1) and [NH3(CH2)5NH3]CdBr4 (2) showed a doublet and quartet 81Br NQR spectrum, respectively. [NH3(CH2)5NH3]ZnBr4 (3) and [NH3(CH2)6NH3]ZnBr4 (4) exhibited a four-line 81Br NQR spectrum.
